Apple says iPhone 5 adapter to cost $29 SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Apple Inc. AAPL +0.31% said Wednesday that the adapter it will sell to connnect the iPhone 5 to other accesories will cost $29. The new adapter will allow consumers to use the iPhone 5, and its new Lightning connection with current accessories using 30-pin connectors that had been standard with the iPhone since the device was launched in 2007. Apple showed off the adapter at an event to launch the iPhone 5 in San Francisco. o~~~ O
