The NYT's description of the film as amateurish is charitable. The film is beyond stupid. It's a cartoon with live characters. A tenth grader could have done better. I have only seen a trailer, but it was enough to form my opinion. It's really difficult to understand why it's caused such a furor. Any sane person would have ignored it after viewing it for 10 seconds. If you go to MEMRI's site, you'll find similar stuff produced by Muslim media. So insane it's actually funny. Or laughable, anyway.
