Tom,, I practice what you preach. I keep a core of techs at all times but trade additional shares of them, mostly on margin. It is easier to trade by a phone call by keeping a core or cash holding instead of cash transfers. Look at the times you may only hold for moments. If IBM is something you like-- get to FEEL it. I trade INTC, CPQ, TPRO, and few others that I know well. Also those that I feel if they drop fast time will heal the wound. These holdings plus trades have put me up 43% to 68% this year--- naturally at the low end now. John
