Totally agree. The pic wasn't necessarily in reference to actions against terrorism (although badly timed, I guess). :) Reagan's response (or lack of one) to the attack on the Marine barracks is the only major thing I hold against him in his eight years in office. And major it was.

If the state of our republic were identical to what it is today (ignoring what got us here, and simply making that assumption), and Ronald Reagan were in office, I would be sleeping a lot better at night in the knowledge that his character, love of country, honesty and willingness to listen to trusted advisors who want what is best for America, would somehow right our ship.

And it wouldn't hurt if Thatcher were still at the helm in Britain either.
