Bonjour, mon amour! I see that Alexa has let our little secret out! Well-I did wonder how we would explain our matching tans. I do think next year, though, I'd like to avoid the crowds at Monte Carlo- so many pitiful aspirants to the beau monde-- and just spend some quiet time on that little Greek island you won at baccarat from that nouveau pauvre centimillionaire our last night. I hope you've forgiven me for that little contretemps with the duchess at dinner Friday evening. You did warn me not to wear all of my diamonds and I shouldn't have let her snide little comment about "rhinestone cowgirl" bother me so. I may have overreacted a bit when I claimed to be related to Annie Oakley and twanged a pea off her nose with my knife. Though you must admit it was an excellent shot.
