Justa, Given today's FED QE developments, and, Brinker's warnings about the interest rate risk inherent in most Treasury Inflation Protected Securities Funds; I was excited to hear that VANGUARD has filed a preliminary prospectus with the SEC for a new "SHORT-TERM INFLATION PROTECTED SECURITY INDEX FUND" to become effective sometime this coming October. It sounds like the fund addresses the interest rate risk challenge in a substantial way. Do you agree? Do you any major downside in such a fund? I'm thinking it would be best suited for a TAX DEFERRED (IRA) ACCOUNT. Any comments you have will be appreciated as usual.
