Hi E,

Do You Believe There Is Gold In The
Desert?

desertusa.com

All of the legends and
stories mentioned in this
article have been told many
times by miners and
prospectors who believe that the Pegleg and
Lost Dutchman Mine exists. The Indian
legends of sacred gold caches, and the
correlating stories of many others who have,
in some way, encountered black-coated gold
nuggets and other supporting data of these
two lost mines, provide strong evidence that
they do indeed exist.

In fact, there is a man who claims to have
found Pegleg's Lost Mine in 1952 . We will
tell you his story next month, so come back
soon and learn more about the man who
claims to have found the black-coated
nuggets lost long ago, by a man with a
wooden leg. Join DesertUSA as we continue
the search for gold in the Desert. Over the
next year we will examine one legend each
month and bring it up to date, with the latest
information and maps, so that you to can be
part on the adventure.
