It's come full circle in a peculiar way.....Fed's easy money lead to toxic MBS, which led to subprime, which led to 2008 meltdown, which led to bad times, which led to stimulus, which led to QE1 and 2, which led to Fed buying toxic MBS via QE3, all having trade of poison for crap in common. Only constant is gold, it's done nicely. Sold my NLY, it wil be competing with Fed in MBS arena.
