Aumont proved 2 nights ago after waliking 2 men he can then settle , as struck out the next. Point being, Aumont was in same situation BUT with 2-0uts, score Phils 4-Astros 3, and he pulls Diekman and ,Diekman gives up 3 straight hits and score becomes 6-4 after 8, and we lose.
Charlie for two straight nights lets Aumont have and keep the ball--and he gives up no runs--be CONSISTENT Charlie. Diekman was awful.
We lose 1/2 game to others, and will lose one and none game to either Dodgers of Cardinals--depending on results of that game. It hurt that Utley left. 6 men on base. Bullpen had given up no runs in 5 and 2/3 innings of this game until he went to Diekman. Aumont gets the defeat.
Cloyd pitching on short rest got pounded--lasted only 3 inning.Need start a 5 game streek tommorow.
Do remember Rocikes 7 years . when they won 21 of last 22 games/ then swept Phils in 3 and taking them 24-1 and made they then all the way to WS where their bubble burst, getting swept in 4.Max
