The Global Economic Impact of the Year 2000 Computer Software Problem
====================================================================
Exceptional 65 page paper by Capers Jones, Chairman of the Software Productivity Group (SPG). Superbly detailed, well-researched and highly regarded in the Y2K community. When reading this, keep in mind the research report relates STRICTLY to software.

The report does NOT include recent hardware problems - BIOS, RTCs (Real Time Clock) - which have only recently surfaced. If BIOS & RTCs are not compliant, Y2K compliant software will have corrupted data. In some cases bad BIOS & RTCs will totally shut down the system.

The report does NOT include EMBEDDED SYSTEM problems in manufacturing, utilities, process control, etc.)
