I was watching Jon Huntsman last night. The Republican's could have won with him, and he is a hard core conservative. His platform was very conservative. Way too conservative for any liberal who actually read it. But he was just too smart and reasonable and he never got above 2%. Amazing, that the right wing would turn down not only their best nominee by far, and a winner, but such a smart man? Romney is a mean, stupid child compared to Huntsman. And Huntsman supports Romney. Many Independents and liberals would have voted for him. Obama will be a much better president, but at least Huntsman would not scare me to death like Romney does.
