Doug - Funny you mention the CPQ LCD box - I bought a 3020 for my wife a couple months back for 1850 thru CDW!!! Too bad they stopped making them, we like the machine and it has a great TFT screen, if you are interested, you can get returns/refurbished models on CPQ's net site that sells machines - I checked a couple days back and they had the 3020 for 1099 and the 3060 (200mhz MMX) for 1399! The site is www.compaqworks.com Also, I saw in a couple of Comdex articles that Hitachi now has an LCD based system (13.3 TFT screen) for a bit over 3 grand. I think price is important, my relatives that do not have computers (and that I am trying to talk into getting computers) seem to all say 'why should I spend 3 grand on box that will be outdated in a couple years'. Well, I'm now getting their attention when I say how about 1 grand!
