HTC Accord rumoured to take “phenomenal photos”, lack microSD card support

HTCSource reports on a tip from a ‘trusted source’ talking about the HTC Accord.

The handset is said to be heading to Verizon’s LTE network, and the device’s 8 megapixel camera is said to take very fast and “phenomenal photos.” It also sports a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

According to their tipster the device does not feature any of HTC’s camera enhancements yet, as found on the HTC One X, including lacking burst mode or other ImageSense camera capabilities, but this could change before release.

The handset also apparently lacks a microSD card slot, packing only 16 GB of built-in storage.

Earlier rumours have specced the device as having a 1.2 Ghz processor, 1 GB RAM, 4.3 inch HD screen, NFC, Beats Audio and a super LCD 2 screen.

The handset is said to have a plastic construction but solid feel and the Windows Phone 8 build running on the device apparently “feels and runs very smooth “though it “still has some things to clean up” before launch.

Their source could not comment on the release date, but was did comment that the device would not be ready before mid-October at the earliest.
