This is the policy in Virginia and has been for decades.

I was part of an educational organization that hosted informative forums in the evening
on topics of interest to its members. We had to file a request ahead of time to use the
lunch room area or a meeting room. We could not serve wine but could have coffee and snacks. We paid for the time and a clean up fee and had to be out by 10 p.m.

Guest speakers included such notable people as Walter Wiliiams of George
Mason University.

In contrast, this is Jim Holland and the Democrat Party attempting to use our elementary school
children for political propaganda purposes during school hours in the height of the Presidential campaign.

“If a political campaign were to inquire about the use of a school facility during the school day, the campaign would be referred to a School Board policy 6100, which prohibits the use of school facilities during the school day for political purposes,” Bullis wrote.

Why did they wait until the Presidential Campaign to make the request-------Michelle could have made a request in 2009 or 2010?

Shame on the Dems for attempting to use our elementary school children for political propaganda.
