Hello TC, Maybe that will work for you and maybe it works for some stocks. But I have tried both ways with Intel and found the buy and hold to work better.

Have you been to the Wade Cook seminars? That is what they talk about, trading in a range and I guess with stocks that stay in a range, maybe it works. Intel sometimes moves very fast, which makes it hard to time. The " Intel Strategy" is the buy and hold strategy which many of us here seem to like. Have a good one. Go INTEL
