Right now there is only one religion trying to impose their rules on the society I live in, and those are the evangelical Christians.
I don't see evangelical Christians telling us not to use incandescent light bulbs.

I don't see evangelical Christians telling us not to use plastic shopping bags.

I don't see evangelical Christians telling us not to buy soft drinks larger than 16 oz.

I don't see evangelical Christians telling us not to burn so much fossil fuels.

I don't see evangelical Christians telling us not to buy goldfish.

I don't see evangelical Christians telling us not to spank our own children.

When you look at the forces behind the 21st century Nanny State, you will find secular liberals at the controls, not evangelical Christians.
