There are BMW's that use "iPod Out" and there are those that don't. Mine doesn't. So mine should work fine with a 5, correct? Hard to know with all the FUD out there. Sadly, you are not helping. Not saying it doesn't suck for people who bought iPod Out compatible stereos in the past 2 years. But MicroUSB wouldn't have been the answer. Neither is a headphone jack. They also do not support iPod Out.
