Good, decent Muslims are not condoning what happened in Libya. In fact, Libyans have been demonstrating against the action and apologizing to this country for what has happened. There are religious extremists in every country and in every religion........and that includes the good ole US of A.

Seems pretty widespread to me, as evidenced by the map below. The bottom line is many Muslims in these countries simply don't believe in Freedom of Speech. They believe in an intolerant view of Islam, which condones violence and murder in response to perceived insults.

Was that movie tasteless? Most assuredly. Was Bill Maher's "Religulous" also tasteless in its making fun of Christianity? Most assuredly. But the reaction of Muslims to the recent trailers on Google versus the reaction of Christians in the US against "Religulous" is a very telling difference between our cultures. We condone violence unambiguously and when it occurs, we prosecute and put people in jail. In Muslim countries, you may get a few jawboning apologists, but you don't get any real mass condemnation of violence and murder and you don't get any real jail sentences.
