Craig- <<Brocade has clearly outmaneuvered us.>>

Example: Interoperability is a big issue for customers with a new technology like FC. Brocade came up with the Brocade Partnership Program (not exactly a new concept in the industry) to qualify other FC vendors as interoperable with the Silkworm and each other. Administered by the independent U of NH, it addresses an industry hot button. The Press Release had great comments from other FC vendors who enthusiastically endorsed the program, and further marked Brocade as the industry leader. As the pioneer in the sector where was Ancor ?

Ancor has made a great deal of progress in the last six or seven months on very critical issues, and we should not lose site of the fact that the management team is still very new and has not had time to completely put a revised strategy in place. Nothing speaks louder than winning new customers, and they have added some nice names recently. As the OEM's roll out their FC stroage strategy in the near future, the investment dynamic re Ancor could change in a hurry. Remember the market is a great discounting mechanism, and when the Investment Bankers start pounding the table on FC and the drive makers start talking about a new storage paradigm (they need one) the future may come at us in a hurry.
