This is on the money. The maps and walk/drive navigation - in Czech even, when I want that - on my Nokia 808 PureView is fantastic, compared to the iPhone I owned.
Unless one spends close to $50 for a superb iOS map app that does almost everything - but only in the US, gotta spend more for elsewhere - that the Nokia one does for free, baked in, around the planet.
Just download the maps for the places you need, and even when your phone is off service, cannot get a phone signal, no WiFi obviously, the maps work, via GPS, like The Charm.
