Jim and AMDites, Re -- K7.. Intel has spent 4 years in developing the Merced. Any meaningful architectural enhancements cannot be developed in 1 year. The K7 is probably the K6+3D (MMX2 equivalent) with Dec's BUS. Another failure right from the start Stockman
