The "hit and run" you so speak of, was a piece of false propaganda placed the Tankwatch thread, with a link reposted to it here, WLD. I responded to it, and dare I say directly and effectively.
You will always get lots of recs from others on this board by changing the topic into a disparagement of me, or others who present the truth about Apple outside the party line towed here. I hope they make you feel good. But the true story about Apple - its horrible Sherman anti-trust worthy business practices, privacy practices, employment practices, closed standards, weak security, truly dreadful manufacturing practices and environmental record remains the truth.
My position is and will remain that Apple's stock will collapse with a coming loss of margins and market share in its carrier subsidized phone business. I intend to profit from it.
You have once again turned this into a conversation about me. My mistakes have been far exceeded by my successes. My net investment in the stock market is negative - of the order of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and I have been in this position for many, many years.
I am the messenger, the person posting information on an Apple issue - the use of proprietary standards to milk customers with up front and with additional hidden costs borne in third party devices via IP fees. Perhaps you can throw more disparagement my way and get more recs. Have away. It'll still be fallacy. It has nothing to do to the original garbage post, to which I responded, and nothing about the inevitable abandonment and higher costs of closed standards that iThing users will face. :)
