[WSTL getting C6x from TXN]

<< This is where they're beginning. The exact same place Westell had hoped to begin with Amati --- integrating DMT into the DSLAM. This is fantastic. I applaud their decision. BUT, before I'll buy Westell stock, I want to see 1) a definitive agreement in print beyond a "strategic alliance," and 2) contracts with teeth as I stated above. >>

you keep implying the WSTL might have a hard time getting the C6x from TXN and/or that TXN might charge a lot. why? what does TXN gain from denying WSTL the C6x or gouging WSTL on price? seems to me that TXN has everything to gain by being supportive of WSTL and helping them establish the technology in the marketplace. i think TXN, like ALA, can afford to lose some money up front in order to gain mindshare and marketshare with OEMs.
