TD on NDM site visit and valuation: Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd. (NDM-T, NAK-A) C$3.84 Pebble Site Visit - SPEC. BUY Rating and Target Affirmed Event We visited the Pebble Project site in Alaska and had discussions with managements of Northern Dynasty and the Pebble Partnership, Northern Dynasty’s legal advisor in Washington, and community leaders from the Iliamna region. Impact POSITIVE . Following the recent critical peer review of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Bristol Bay Watershed Assessment draft report completed by the Region 10 office in Seattle, and a fresh look at the project’s location relative to waterways in the immediate area, we believe that the Pebble Project should and will be allowed to proceed to the formal project permitting process allowed under the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA), and that the Project stands a very good chance of being permitted. We believe that a perceived threat of a socalled Clean Water Act 404(c) veto of the Project by the EPA, whether real or imagined, has been reduced or even eliminated. Following our visit and discussions, we are reiterating our SPECULATIVE BUY rating and C$18.00 target price.
