Or you could choose to see this as political hay making, like I do. You probably noticed that I didn't crucify Obama for saying, "You didn't build that," like many GOP members did. It was haymaking and Obama didn't choose his words carefully. So I refuse to participate in that kind of silly season, to use an Obama phrase that I like.

HE DIDN'T SAY THAT! If you had brought it up, you would have been lying like all the other Rs.

What he did say is businesses didn't do it all on their own. Gov't provids the services and the infrastructure to help make it happen. And throughout this country the most successful metros are the ones where gov't and businesses work together to make it happen.

So your faux outrage is a little childish and immature if you ask me. Why don't you focus on the important issues instead of making political hay?

No, its your narrow thinking that is immature and arrogant. You people actually believe you are minor gods able to walk on water and move mts. You're not. You are human just like the rest of us.......only with more, not less human frailties.

However, it is been a few decades since I lived in Texas. I live in a swing state with a lot of other Independents like me, who also happen to be mostly fiscal conservatives.

You may have left TX decades ago but there is still a lot of TX in you.
