Peter, I've always repected you because at least you were willing to listen.

I think we both have also agreed that deficit spending was the bane of any country.

I just don't see WHERE you can get enough cuts to even start to balance the U.S. budget. I think you have to have increases in revenues also.

The republicans have been talking about the deficits a great deal. They've even threatened to shut down the government rather than raise the debt ceiling. The problem with Romney/Ryan is that I don't see how their thing about CUTTING taxes will get us ANY closer to a balanced budget (especially since they want to raise defense spending).

Can you explain to me HOW these guys can balance the budget while also CUTTING taxes?
