Brother Shalom- Your point is right and well taken when referring to the final authority of the word---but as I interpret what Steve is saying---he agrees with that too---however to carry further what you have said means we cannot trust one another if it does not "plumb-line" with the word of God---again no problem. However, this of course means that whatever you say (for example about the way you interpret the Tribulation [post, pre, mid, pan] etc. could not be "trusted" because I supposedly see it differently [and in my mind and heart correctly]. So what I see is this: We are all Evangelical, Bible believing, born again, "becomers", accepted by the finished work on Calvary---"without the shedding of blood, their is no forgiveness of sins."---so we have our "warts", our "infirmities", our "thorns in the flesh"---but because Christianity is not static, we are becoming more and more "conformed to the image of Christ."
