<For those of you that don't seem to quite understand the split thing...>

Hi Gary and all,

I'm one of them, and was wondering a couple of things:

I sold some trading shares last week (at 32). If the price drops and I buy them back on December 1, I assume I would get the split dividend. But what happens if I buy between December 2 and 21? Would the number of shares I own still double on the 22nd? Would these shares be treated any differently from the shares I owned on or before December 1?

I've still got a lot to learn, so any input is appreciated.

Thanks, Susan
