Anybody adding to their positions?

BTW.....good sell up in the mid 30's kfs.

As far as the last quarter goes.....Intuit what beat the estimate by what .02? What a big one day deal the market did with that.....wowie!

As usual there was no mention of the 'Marketable Securities' Line Item on the balance sheet which was up to 287,685,000 from 190,800,000 over the quarter....more that $2 a share. Checkfree & Excite.

So what 287 Million $$ in Checkfree & Excite shares by 47 Million shares out on Intuit comes to $6.10ish in value per each Intuit Share.

Since I don't expect Intuit to get 50% return on these 'investments' every quarter....nor do I expect them to sell these shares they hold in Checkfree and Excite anytime soon.......where is Intuit without these investments?

As of October 31st (in Millions except %)

Investments are 61% of Stockholders Equity 287/468

Investments are 91% of Working Capital 287/(568-253)

So one has to ask himself...herself this...with over 1/2 the value of the company is invested in the internet.....over 9 out of 10 dollars in free working capital is tied up in internet investments.....do you believe in the internet? Do you believe Intuit will complete the transistion to the Internet? Because if you don't....you'd better sell. Becuase it looks to me Intuit is going for it..........all or nothing..
