I saw a version of CNNfn a couple of days ago in which they were talking about DEFLATION of 2-3% this year in the US. Then they went on to say that they didn't think the banks could drive the interest rates low enough to get it back to 0.

Interesting turn of events from the 1984-1988 events of 21% interest rates which terminated in the '87 crash...

has anyone else seen this report or have info like this? Is it possible that things like home loan and broker margin rates will get down to 3-4%?
