I still like this as a short-term opportunity, but I don't think I want these guys as stewards of my money for the long term. From the Sep 14 financials, you can see management paid themselves huge "one-time" bonuses for both Q1 and Q2, supposedly these were for the Simmers & Jack settlement and the Royalty sale, but they really shouldn't be paying themselves huge bonuses after the performance they've had this year.

It never ceases to amaze me how blatantly some of these Canadian investment companies cheat their shareholders. I just complained about the prior bonuses to the OSC and others have too, so hopefully the company will be on a tight leash for the time being.
