John, Re:If you are price conscious, it's just not worth buying the latest and greatest as soon as it comes out, simply because you will be able to get it for 25-50% off in a couple of months!!! I agree with this, that's why I am not touching the PII 300. I am hoping the sub 1 k computer buyers become computer savvy and realize that the next time they buy a PC they will want to move up the food chain. We will see in 18 24 months or so.
