Richard: Thankyou very much for the time you spent in your articulate reply. I noticed that you alluded to Metastock. I just received their video and promotional pieces. Looks very "user friendly" (excuse the over used term).. . . for those of us who are
"technically (TA) challenged". (Politically correct for: Big Dummy)

I like its new interface. Although, I keep hearing that Tradestation is the "Rolls Royce". I was just wondering if I couldn't still get to my destination (successful screening/charting/and profitability) in a less extravagant vehicle.

I know . . . I know . . . that little voice keeps reminding me , "you get what you pay for!" Anyway, I'd like your thoughts. And are there any templates, or overlays available that I could purchase to get up to speed fast in building a good screening/criteria system. I thought I read about something like that awhile back in the TA for beginners thread.
