Why? "Because support for Obama remains lukewarm." That's why "he is not running away with this thing even after Romney's myriad stumbles."
I don't agree with this part. Polls indicate that Obama's supporters are getting more enthusiastic. The reason he's not "running away with this thing" is that he doesn't have more supporters. Not because the ones he has are lukewarm.
