Elizabeth,
When you give a special interview to Investors Business Daily in order that the interview will be a special feature in their publication, that is as "public" as you can get, with the exception being the WSJ, Barron's, and CNBC. Considering the major funding of this project is taxpayers monies and it is not a national security project, why all of this secrecy. I'm sure that by using federal tax dollars, this would fall under the federal laws and the Open Records Act would apply.
I have a fairly open mind about most things. Could someone give me just one reason why JMAR would want to keep this a secret? Also, could someone give me just one reason as to why any corporation would not want their name associated with them watching a demonstration of another companies product. To suggest otherwise, is to imply that JMAR is going to give ONE company an exculsive right to use this product. I would be more inclined to think that JMAR would want ALL companies to know that they have a unique product. I've always operated on the assumption that..."greater the demand for your product, the higher the price you can charge for it". Secrecy doesn't help promote demand in my opinion.
