Very sad that the US remained "leaderless". 300+ million people could not promote and chose a real leader to guide them during those difficult times.

The US electorate failed very badly in choosing their political leaders, who are mostly greedy self-promoters and utterly selfish and therefore unqualified for being the leaders of this great nation

It seems to me that only very selfish self-interested people are now in politics.

Unfortunate this very negative social development which is not only restricted to the US but also in many other countries, politicians chose their carrier not because they care about other people or fellow citizens, but for the sole purpose of another track of speedy self-enrichment, of themselves and their well-connected buddies – very sad and disgusting.

Anyone not succeeding in real life business switches to politics, and by this adopting the rule and concept of the "worldwide blood sucking squid" which concept is very pervasive and is spreading like a plague
.
In the US neither presidential candidate succeeded in a real business and getting rich by financial maneuvering and by impoverishing others is de facto cheating the unaware, the naive, or uneducated or un-savvy person, even if it is legal (no different than selling snake oil for health and life longevity)
