Intel is in production at .25u, AMD is only sampling. My guess is that the gap will widen. AMD has not yet gotten the .35u process working right, so it's not reasonable to expect the .25u to come up clean. Yousef and Paul have made the case that AMD never got the .6u process running right before they went to .35u. You saw what happened. Why expect anything different?
