This is incorrect, Kevin ... this optimization that is needed for higher
frequency operation (that I am describing) is all done at the process
level. AMD's process is more aggressive in density due to local interconnect,
but Intel's is more aggressive from the performance standpoint. Also, AMD's
density creates a more complex process that is harder to yield. So
Kevin which would you rather have, a process with smaller die or a process
with faster CPU's ??!! ... I pick the higher performance !!
