If we manage to give Obama a decent Congress to deal with this election, I think he'll deal with the deficit. I think he'll deal with it in some ways that will anger many progressives, but I think progressive anger is a given at this point, regardless of how well-balanced his solution is.

Obama has said repeatedly he is the president of all Americans. Why progressives think he will do everything their way is beyond me. If he did, he is no better than a Cheney....IMO.
