Another poster and I thought it was good:

"Regardless of what polls say, the general public doesn't pay attention to a Presidential race until after Labor Day. Until then it is all just inside baseball of dueling pundits. Now that the public is engaged and understands the basic Republican message: "We want to reduce already low taxes on the rich to make them even lower, and we'll get the money by reducing government programs that benefit everyone else."

Who on God's green earth is going to sign up for that steaming pile? Obama's lead increases from now until the election.
