Hot sticky weather with lots of bugs? You must be talking about Hong Kong. LOL.

I' ll give you the summers in Florida are pretty brutal but it's hard to beat in January and February which is what Maurice was talking about. Arizona gets very hot in summer all be it a "dry" heat but 120 plus desert heat is too hot for me dry or not.
. The average summer high temperatures are some of the hottest of any major city in the United States, and approach those of cities such as Riyadh and Baghdad. The temperature reaches and exceeds 100°F (38°C), on average for 110 days of the year, including most days from late May through to early September. Highs top 110 °F (43 °C) an average of 18 days during the year. On June 26, 1990, the temperature reached an all-time recorded high of 122 °F (50 °C). [27]

Vegas is not a place I'd ever want to live, ditto Pheonix, have you ever spent any time there? In addition to the heat there is no " cheap living" any more compared to Florida.

But all that aside we were talking about Florida Real Estate being a depressed asset at present not where is the nicest place to live. That is a whole different subject. Personally, I like to spend part of the year in Europe, say Paris and the South of France, the winter months in San Diego or Florida and fit in a month or two in Aspen Colorado.

Where do you live by the way Scottsdale Az?
