Agree 100%.

If I am reading things correctly, commercial shorts are putting on enormous positions in the metals markets.

Given the state of the world, i.e., Iran, derivatives, no growth, Europe, QE ad infinitum, etc., the shorts are taking enormous gambles. They could get burned at any moment.

If I am reading things correctly (which I may not be), recent upswing may have had to do at least partially with shorts not being present in the markets. I understand they may have returned.

Feel free to correct this if I am wrong. I am processing a very large number of impressions without actually checking facts and figures.
