To anyone interested. I wanted a relatively inexpensive machine to replace an old P-60. Have gotten kind of tired with trying to keep up with Intel's latest and greatest. Put together the following components. So far it has proved to be a very solid performing machine. Enlight baby AT case. Excellent case. No tools, 4 bays extra front fan 250 w power supply, places to mount 3 ( i think) hard drives FIC PA-2007 board with 1 meg cache AMD K-6 200 64 meg SDram dimms (found 32 meg chips for $105 each) IBM Deskstar 5 (ATA-3) hard drive Diamond Viper 330 video card Creative 24x CD and sound card. Diamond 56i modem The machine seems a good bit faster than my P-200 MMX with 2940UW SCSI and SCSI hard drive. I am now an AMD believer.
