I have not checked the insider trading report recently but the last time FD sold the stock heavily he was buying more via options so his position net increased. I do not know if he did that this time..did he? I think watching insider trading is extremely telling and if you see the insiders net selling then that is a red flag. However selling at market and exercising options is net buying so you can be fooled if you do not do your homework throughly. One thing about FD that impresses me is that he seems to know how to play the market. So for playing the market it is good to keep an eye on his trading. However the bottom line will not come from market playing here but from the drilling. That is where the fortune will be made if it is to be made. That is what I am betting on..right or wrong. As for trading the insiders definitely have a major advantage in this game as far as trading goes. Even they do not know however how the drill results will come out which levels the playing field with respect to the longer term outlook. Coal bed methane fields either work or they do not and when they work they are extremely valuable. I do not think coal bed methane plays are good trading stocks. They are better long term bets because the upside is so huge. But you have to buy low and sell high. If you buy off the bottom and not on the bottom you set yourself up for pain on these all or none type plays which is why I only bought under .45 cdn and now would be a buyer again if I had any extra cash. These are stocks you should never chase imho.
