Well until middle class wages start going up substantially you are probably right. Pockets of inflation but nothing as widespread as the post WW2 period or the 1970's. Actually a hyperinflation only bet is quite dangerous. Technology and globalization act as major constraints this time..

Ironic so many perma bear and right wing types always whine about Bernanke and his policies effect on food prices, oil prices and sky high RE prices in gateway cities. Yet they never mention PITI for buyers today is way below equivalent rent in most of the country now..
