Abbott Laboratories (ABT) -NYSE - New all time high for the stock last $70.41

Not sure how to value these pharmaceutical companies. I noticed that Pfizer Inc. (PFE) -NYSE is hitting a four year high. I have shares that I have bought and held in the IRA at $26/share (7/2005) and even @ $34.65/share(in 11/2009). I also added a lot more shares below $16.00/share in 6/2010 too. At one point during the pharma growth phase (during the 90's), the market priced a lot of these pharmaceuticals w/ a 25 PE to 30 PE. The forward PE's for these stocks are still quite cheap now selling w/ PE's in the low teens. ABT at PE 13.77 and PFE at 11.09.

I continue to hold all my pharma stocks as they pay good dividends. I am not sure if the market is looking to price more growth in these names (perhaps as the baby boomers age) but many are breaking out to multi year highs. ABT at an all time high is a surprise to me too.
