Hi Ron, >>My opinion is that the SEC's new requirements for disclosing Y2K unfunded liabilities will be one of the major catalysts for bringing the potential costs and dangers implicit in Y2K to a head.

Do you know which quarter this reporting has to start?

I am aware of some banks that are looking for partners that are on track to be Y2K compliant because it will take them 1 year of earnings to fix the problem. I have wondered if the CEOs have even asked what are the schedule estimates to fix the problem.

Are most of the DC rumors of problems government or both industry and government?

Joan
