The terrain can kick the tires for us.
Pardon these statements, redundant as they are, to me they represent the litter, potholes, and blown out bridges on most any mining companies road today. (have you ever driven a hummer?)
The intent for the price of gold has already been pretty much struck. Its lingering there depends upon how blissfully the masses continue to view their investments which hedge the various manufacturing and service sectors we all benefit from and pay for. For now, gold has been put on the dark side.
and thank you, powers that be, for the interest rate you rave about as fine, "if I want to buy or sell a house for the highest possible price". Doesn't this really imply that money is rather easy/cheap at the time? I happen to "own" a home in the truer sense of the word, however, anyone paying 18+% on their credit cards deserves the right to say "inflation".
and somewhere a few years back I remember something wonderful called the consumers price index (CPI). you sidelined that by wasting technological advancement into your now used gross product index? (GPI). the figures don't lie, but the liars figure.
and not that I make too many friends, but I do notice those I have spending their retirement money, as you can work all you want, but you won't get too far.
The summation of little white lies is getting harder to support as Clinton sashays off with aid for the pacific rim. Where will he get the money? but could it be more affordable since the October gold bashing fiasco funneled money into bonds? and at whose expense?
Before the common investor untangles this lots of mining activity will be deferred, as well as more sobering consequences. I won't guess how long the choppy waters will persist, or how "low" any powers might go in "protecting our many interests", but expect to be shaking my head from time to time.
From this frame of mind, which will change, I'll begin by looking at Barrick Gold Corporation, and Michaud characteristics, while trying to express and increase my understanding of Moneta itself. (couple days please)
