Investor's Business Daily (11/17) reported the following US sub1K pc market share as follows (Aug '97 data);

Presario 4504 48%
Presario 2200 19%
Packard Bell 12%
Acer 4%
Tri Gem 3%

This data shows Compaq with 67% of sub 1k pc market in US at the end of August.
