A very coherent post. Can I ask you some questions about it? You seem to say there are lawsuits outstanding. The company says there were no outstanding legal actions as of June 30-1996, and in every 10-Q filed subsequently. You seem to say there are old ones. Is that true? Some of those links do not seem to apply here, particularly the one which deals with short positions associated with syndicate activity in underwritings. But the whole thrust here still seems to hinge on the number of "illegal" shorts here. No one has ever come close to proving that here, and perhaps this is the time to look at what should happen relative to shorting and how the process really works..
